Delusions of Grandeur
One of the first things I ever said I wanted to be when I grew up was a comic book writer. I created many characters and stories over the years as a child. As I grew older my artistic abilities did not, sadly, grow and mature with me. I felt I truly needed both, art and writing, to succeed in comics. Unfortunately I gave up that dream too early. I never gave up on being a writer to some degree, though. I continued to create stories throughout my growing up and well into adulthood, now luckily the ability to tell stories did mature with me. I created over the years a myriad of stories and characters. Yet, when I finally decided to stop procrastinating and put pen to paper, there really seemed only one clear choice to start in my writing career. Why not start writing in the one area that got me so fascinated in stories at such an early age. With Titan I had hoped to lump together many of the best ideas I had as a younger boy creating and imagining made up superhero worlds. The stories matured a little just as I matured a little.
